As if the government didn't have enough Hawaiian lands already, they want to take more. If it all goes through, the U.S. government will be bringing in "810 soldiers, 291 strykers, and 55 other support vehicles" plus "weapons 105mm Howitzer cannon and 120mm mortar" for training. This doesn't even include all of the road changes and additional "training facilities" that will be created and or adjusted to suit the army, costing about $693 million! I can picture it already . . . Isn't this what happened before Queen Liliuokalani was overthrown? Just a friendly gesture from the American government to the Hawaiians.
